  Who can get a library card?
  Library cards are free to any resident of the State of California.

  What do you need to get a library card?
  To get a Moorpark City Library card, you must show two forms of identification that
  establish your identity and address.

  Will my Ventura County Library card still work?
  Your Ventura County Library card will still work at branches of the Ventura County Public Library   (such as in Simi Valley), but to use the Moorpark City Library, you will need to get a new Moorpark   Library card.

  How many items can I check out?
  On your first visit you can check out two items. When those items are returned after the first day of   your application, you can borrow up to 30 items.

  What if I lose my card?
  We will replace it for $1.00.

  Can children get cards?
  Yes, children who can write their first and last names can get a library card with the signature of an   adult or legal guardian.
